High density chitosan
High density chitosan, also known as high-density chitin, has a higher bulk density than conventional chitosan and is suitable for use in the field of health food.
Gold shell means that in general, the bulk density of powdered chitosan is 0.15-0.30g/ml, which is relatively low. The weight of chitosan that can be filled in capsules of the same volume is relatively low.
The density of high-density chitosan is 2-3 times higher than that of conventional chitosan. When the volume is the same, its ability to adsorb oil is higher than that of conventional chitosan. It can quickly dissolve in gastric acid for a short time, and absorb a large amount of oil, cholesterol and chloride ions. It can produce flocculent in the intestinal alkaline environment and be directly discharged from the body.
