Glucosamine sulfate, as a natural amino monosaccharide, is an important component necessary for the synthesis of proteoglycans in human articular cartilage matrix. It is mainly divided into two types: glucosamine potassium sulfate and glucosamine sodium sulfate.
It has been shown in many studies on the treatment of osteoarthritis by glucosamine sulfate in China that glucosamine can be used to treat various parts of osteoarthritis, such as knee joint.
